2019 Frontenac Noir Barrel Aged Port
Our first release of a dessert style wine fortified with brandy. What’s unique about this elixir is that both the Brandy and the wine come from the same grape varietal. The Brandy was distilled in 2017 from Frontenac and used as the fortifier when it was added during winemaking in 2019 to the fermenting Frontenac grapes. There is a very limited supply of this vintage remaining. It is fantastic as a sipper in front of the warm fireplace on these cool Wisconsin winter nights.
