Sam Bush
Welcoming Sam Bush to Wine Down 2025 – golly, what an honor. His music creates an electric atmosphere, captivating audiences with its infectious energy and improvisational spirit. Whether it’s a foot-stomping jam or a soulful ballad, he brings a sense of joy and excitement, with fans dancing throughout. Beyond SB’s musical prowess, he has deep respect for musical traditions, often crediting his influences while continuing to innovate. An interesting fact: despite his success as a mandolinist, he originally started on the violin and every so often picks at a fiddle too.
Sam Bush is a trailblazing musician in progressive bluegrass, known for blending traditional bluegrass with rock, jazz, and funk. A master mandolinist and founding member of New Grass Revival, he helped redefine the genre with his energetic and experimental style. His influence in the “newgrass” movement has led him to collaborate with legends like Emmylou Harris and Béla Fleck, expanding his music’s reach. And now, he’s playing along side the vines, under The Ledge. It’s going to be a good night to appreciate this legend.
